TINICUM TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
This Saturday will start off with the team championship at Tinicum Park @ 10am. This is a pick your own partner team championship, with both winning team members receiving a star plastic disc. We will have a campsite set just off the first tee.
KNOCKAMIXON MASTERS EVENT
Sunday will be an event for seasoned throwers, as this course is a monster. With more par 4's than any other course in the area, and even a par 5, this course will be a 3-person per team tournament that will surely test the best discs in everyone's bag.
Tee time will be @ 10am with no discs being awarded for this event.

I will be attending both events and hope that someone will want this rookie on their team as i feel the game is coming along
i will be at Sunday, and am working on saturday.
There will definitely be players looking for teammates, so warm up that noodle you call a putting arm Timmy!

We have several players looking to partner up. I myself am looking to team up with Jesse Young, but anyone else looking for a partner may leave a post here. Several top throwers are available on the board yet. (Walter, Ondush, Hartz, Buck, and more!)

you should not get to pick your teammate everyone name should be put in a hat and teams drawn that way. Matter as well say yount and young are the winners if u get to pick. Kellen you and I we can come in last hahahahaha.
not quite.....Zach and Denny Barr are expected to team up as well as others, but with two throws on every shot, it's anyones game..... and it's called the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP for a reason.

So far I believe Spence, Bennett, Hartz, Buck, Veitch, Berg, and a few others are on the board for partners.
Englert and Berg may team up, and Spence may have a ringer with him, but all in all there is plenty of talent to go around in a best disc format.

Expect a tee time around 10am, as I know some will be traveling a bit to get there, some later groups may tee off closer to 10:30am.
When approaching Lake Nockamixon, enter at the Nockamixon State Park entrance, then follow signs toward the marina until you see signs for the discgolf course. It can get a little tricky in there and the church road listed in the googlemaps is not visible.
it was good to see spence out at covered bridges friday night and although i kicked his ass by 10 i will predict that he and his mystery partner chris moser will win by 10 strokes at tinicum doubles. I hope all have fun. Yount even though you are camping at the course try to show up on time for once . lol.
it should be competitive on Saturday, but gunk.....i'm curious what you shot to beat him by 10 strokes....

i shot 52 last time there..i played the team event at nock today, holy cow is that huge!! i missed tinicum, but heard it was gorgeous.
yes nockamixon is big. did you play all 18 or just the 14 holes ? Although nockamixon is big and tiring you cant deny the beauty of the marina holes and the drainage waterfall hole and the several creek holes that are very beautiful. It is a shame however that there is no park service to do maintenance there as i am sure some of the marina holes had high grass down the fair ways. It is too big an area for just disc golfers to bring their own weed whackers and lawn mowers out . Alright Sean so when are we gonna play covered bridges so i can see what you got. remember no mulligans and i will call you on foot faults. haha.
that 52 was with no mullies, playin with denny...we played all 18 and i will say it had some pretty holes..the grass was high though...we'll have to hook up somewhere this week, we'll see what it brings..i know tuesday night denny plays the covered bridge, but i might have to wait
while you're looking at footfaults you can observe that ridiculous red jersey I always see you wearing.
i have been wearing that jersey this year as a reminder that it was the same jersey that i was wearing 15 years ago when i broke the shoulder and also as a reminder to keep positive in my winning fight against cancer from earlier this year.
looking at the current seedings for the final jordan creek event ... what if someone does not show up does that mean that person that is playing him in the first round gets a bye ? I volunteer to be an alternate if someone does not show up.
1 more dumb question..Are the current seedings finalized right now or will they move around one last time after the long trout thing. I want to predict the winners of the bracket just like it was march madness.
they will move again after long trout. Each participant gets 1 point per event, and points depending on placement. If someone does not respond to their invitation within 48hrs. their invitation is passed on to the next person in points down the line. If you win long trout, you will have 11points, which should seed you into the lower brackets of the tournament with any no shows not attending. I did not know that you fought a battle with cancer Bri, good for you man. Many in my family were taken from it, and I salute you for the fight.
i will be playin with denny tuesday at covered bridge, and at long trout on saturday. so gunk, come on out and play with us man, it would be cool to see ya out there again.
i work til 9pm on weekdays and i will be at the jordan ammo on sunday so i wont be able to get away from the wife for both weekend days. Just be careful not to fall off those elevated tee pads at long trout.
